On February 17, 2026, a meeting was held between representatives of the BSU named after K. Karasaev and the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A. Osmonov.
The meeting was attended by the rector of BSU named after K. Karasaev, Professor M. M. Dyldaev, the director of the A. Osmonov National Library, E. E. Attokurov, the dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Information Systems, A. A. Asanova, as well as teachers and students of the Department of Social Information and Documentation.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed aimed at developing cultural and humanitarian ties, ensuring professional training for personnel, and expanding cooperation in the library and information sector.
The cooperation takes into account common interests in the field of library and information activities and related aspects, facilitating the training of qualified personnel for the library and information industry, raising the level of professionalism of specialists, strengthening and developing cultural and humanitarian ties between institutions.
