On April 26–27, 2025, the III Central Asian Forum of German Language Teachers “Contributions from German Language Studies in Central Asia: Potential and Advancement” was held at the Koi-Tash recreation center. It was organized by the Union of German Language Teachers in Kyrgyzstan. The opening speech was given by the rector of the BSU named after K. Karasaev, Dyldaev M.M.
The forum brought together teachers from Central Asian countries, as well as lecturers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Participants exchanged experiences, got acquainted with new teaching materials and discussed issues of teaching methods.
Plenary and sectional sessions, workshops on innovative technologies, intercultural competence and knowledge assessment were held. Lecturers of the Faculty of European Civilizations of BSU - Toktogazieva D.S., Beishenova Zh.B. and Sotnikova-Marquart T.M. - held a workshop "Schreibstrategien zum erfolgreichen Verfassen des Bewerbungsanschreibens" and received certificates.
The forum has become an important platform for professional communication and development of the German language in the region.
