Students at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev were shown the documentary film "Chokan Valikhanov – A Bright Star of History," produced by the Aikel studio of the Manas National Academy in collaboration with the Barsbek Global production studio.
The event was attended by Acting President of the Manas National Academy Nazar Aaly kyzy and BSU Rector Mirlan Dyldaev, who held an open discussion with students.
During the meeting, students' questions were answered in detail about the legacy of the outstanding historian and researcher Shokan Valikhanov, his contribution to the history of Central Asia, and his works based on historical sources.
The event took place as part of the week dedicated to December 4 – the Day of the Epic "Manas", organized by the National Academy "Manas".
