On April 22, 2025, a thematic meeting of teachers, students and invited experts was held at the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev, dedicated to issues of legal response to modern challenges and threats within the framework of the activities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
BSU Rector Mirlan Dyldaev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of legal education of young people and international cooperation in the field of security.
The main report on the mission of the CSTO PA was delivered by Shabdanbek Alishev, Deputy Secretary General of the CIS IPA Council. Legal aspects of collective security were covered by Vyacheslav Kocharyan, Advisor to the Expert and Analytical Department of the CSTO PA Secretariat.
Representatives of the security forces of the Kyrgyz Republic also took part in the discussion: Colonel of the Ministry of Defense Tokobaev Nurbek, Lieutenant Colonel of the Information Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Ibragimov Ilyas and Lieutenant Colonel of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security Zholdoshov Ruslan.
The meeting became a significant platform for exchanging opinions, expanding students’ legal horizons and developing a culture of international dialogue.
