Education&quot;<br><strong>Project code:<\/strong> 101179245<br><strong>Implementation period:<\/strong> 2023\u20132026<br><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong> University of Design Bremen (Germany)<br><strong>Participants:<\/strong> 13 universities from Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project objective:<\/strong><br>Promoting the EU Green Deal in the Eurasian region through the active involvement of universities as centres of sustainable development, green innovation and higher education transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The main objectives of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of a national model <strong>Green and Digital University (GDU)<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation <strong>Green Digital Offices (GDO)<\/strong> in universities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development and implementation of mandatory <strong>interdisciplinary training module<\/strong> on sustainable development for master&#039;s degree;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction <strong>microcredit elective courses<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Horizontal analysis of curricula for green competencies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation <strong>National GDU network<\/strong> for sustainable knowledge exchange and promotion of green policies in universities of Kyrgyzstan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role of BSU:<\/strong><br>Bishkek State University is actively involved in the development and implementation of the GDU model with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. The project is expected to have a multiplier effect on more than 10,000 students and dozens of teachers, specialists and managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2705<\/strong><strong> 2. SOLID (Social Work and NGO Support in Drug Addiction Treatment)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Financing:<\/strong> DAAD (Germany)<br><strong>Implementation period:<\/strong> 2025\u20132029<br><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong> Nuremberg Federal University of Technology<br><strong>Partners:<\/strong> Universities of Central Asia and China<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project objective:<\/strong><br>Strengthening social work as a profession and science in Central Asia and China, especially in the context of helping people suffering from drug addiction, HIV, hepatitis, as well as in places of imprisonment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role of BSU:<\/strong><br>The University is involved in training professionals, strengthening ties with NGOs and promoting harm reduction, prevention and psychosocial support programmes.<br>The project supports the UN SDGs (goals 3, 4, 5, 10, 16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2705<\/strong><strong> 3. GREENKG (Green Transition and Climate Resilience in Kyrgyzstan&#039;s Higher Education)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program:<\/strong> Erasmus+<br><strong>Implementation period:<\/strong> 2024\u20132027<br><strong>Project objective:<\/strong><br>Development and implementation of courses on climate resilience, green economy and low-carbon development in universities of Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation of BSU:<\/strong><br>The university implements educational modules, trains teachers, and develops sustainable educational and environmental policies on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2705<\/strong><strong> 4. SUMRICA (Sustainable Urban Mobility Research in Central Asia)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Implementation period:<\/strong> 2024\u20132028<br><strong>Coordinator:<\/strong> Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin)<br><strong>Participants:<\/strong> Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project objective:<\/strong><br>Developing research capacity in the field of sustainable urban mobility in Central Asia through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>summer schools,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>research internships,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>joint publications,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>interdisciplinary seminars.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation of BSU:<\/strong><br>The university&#039;s teachers and young researchers are trained in the fields of transport policy, sustainable planning and digital mobility solutions.
