Department of Pedagogy and Psychology

Кафедра педагогики и психологии  ФПИРЯЛ была образована  в 1979 году. С 2009 года кафедра педагогики и психологии начала свою профессиональную учебную, научную, воспитательную, профориентационную деятельность на базе факультета Славяноведения  БГУ им. К. Карасаева, руководителем которой является к.ф.н., профессор Елебесова С.А. Факультет педагогического образования была основана в 2021 году, кафедра продолжает свою деятельность при данном факультете. At the department there are highly qualified teachers of psychological and pedagogical disciplines providing training in 3 profiles:

• Social Pedagogy
• Social pedagogy-psychology
• Logopedics.

Проводится подготовка аспирантов и магистрантов по педагогическому направлению: общей педагогики, истории педагогики и образования и социальная педагогика.

On the basis of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology for the last 3 years about 60 postgraduates have graduated, 20 of them have defended candidate dissertations.

The center of "Pedagogical Mastery and Professional Development of Education Workers" functions at the department, where the systematic professional development in psychological and pedagogical directions for teachers, social teachers of secondary schools and rehabilitation children's centers, master's and postgraduate students is carried out.

The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology pays great attention to international cooperation in the framework of concluded agreements with universities in Russia and Kazakhstan. At the moment the partners of the department are Maurice Thorez Moscow State Linguistic University, Bashkir State University named after M. Akmulla, Zh. M. Akmulla, Zhezkazgan University named after O. A. Baikonurov. O. A. Baikonurov, International Institute for Professional Development of Teacher, Moscow, Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Almaty.

The management of scientific-research work of students is actively carried out. At the department there are two scientific student circles "Social Pedagogue" and "Psychologist", providing pedagogical culture and effectiveness of the educational process.

Special attention is paid to pedagogical practice of students. In the framework of its various types of actively realized career guidance activities in SOS ¹ 58, 74, 25, 84, 96, 86 Bishkek, Talas, Batken and Chui regions.

A distinctive feature of the teachers of the department is a deep interest in their work, responsibility, conscientiousness, communication, versatile and meaningful work in all its areas: academic, scientific, educational, career guidance, active life position, openness to contacts, readiness for constructive cooperation.

Many teachers working at the department graduated from A.I. Herzen LSPU, I. Arabayev KSU, K. Karasayev BSU, KGFIK.

They conduct classes on psychological and pedagogical disciplines at all faculties of the university. The department develops psychological and pedagogical bases of building models of education and upbringing on the basis of systemic - activity approach.
