PRESS RELEASE of the program dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic at Bishkek State University. K. Karasaeva

November 16, 2023 at Bishkek State University. Karasaev hosted a theatrical and musical performance dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic, prepared by students and teaching staff of the Turkish department of the Department of Philology of the Near and Middle East, Faculty of Oriental Studies and International Relations.

The event was attended as an honorary guest by Education Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Kürsat Dulkadir, Director of the Turkish Educational Center Mustafa Bulut and others.

The purpose of this event was to familiarize BSU students with the peculiarities of the development of Turkey, a country that occupied an important geopolitical place in the history of Asia and Europe in earlier times, and plays an important role at the present time, as well as to facilitate understanding of the historical path of the creation of the modern Turkish Republic.
In the theatrical composition, the students showed the historical path Turkey had taken before 1923 and the modernization process of Turkish society during 1923-2023.
And also special attention was paid to the modern achievements of the Republic of Turkey in the industrial, socio-economic, cultural-humanitarian and scientific-technical development of the country over the last 100 years.
