Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation

The Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation was established by the order of the BSU Rector in 2006 at the Faculty of Economics and Finance, it is a structural educational, methodological and scientific unit of Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev. It carries out educational, methodological, research work, as well as research activities among students, undergraduates, postgraduates and applicants in the direction of economics, profiles: "Finance, Credit and Banking" and "Taxes and Taxation".

The purpose of the creation of the Department "FB&T" is the training of highly qualified specialists, whose professional activity is carried out in the financial, banking, monetary and credit spheres, in the tax system at the national level.

Миссия кафедры «ФБДиН» заключена в подготовке высококвалифицированных бакалавров в области финансов, банковского дела и налогообложения обладающих профессиональными компетенциями, необходимыми для банков, кредитных, страховых компаний КР, а также обеспечение полного раскрытия научных и педагогических способностей каждого преподавателя кафедры.

Moreover the Department implements programs for the training of Masters and Postgraduates - 08.00.10 - "Finance, Money Circulation and Credit" and 08.00.12 - "Accounting, Statistics".

The teaching staff provides teaching disciplines at a high pedagogical level, as it consists of Professors, Candidates of Science and Senior teachers with broad experience in the field of Economics and Finance. New interactive teaching technologies with the use of the latest teaching tools (with the use of a projector and the Internet, with the involvement of leading practitioners - bankers and tax specialists) are applied in the classes.

The Department carries out communication with the production for increasing the efficiency of educational, industrial and pre-qualification practices. Agreements with enterprises, firms, state institutions, banks and tax services, etc. are concluded.

Кафедра является межфакультетской, т.к. обеспечивает финансовыми дисциплинами бакалавров многие факультеты Вуза, так и выпускающей, готовящей бакалавров по направлению Экономика по профилям: «Финансы, кредит и банковское дело» и «Налоги и налогообложение».
