International Relations Department

The Department of International Relations is a structural subdivision of Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev (hereinafter - the University). The Department of International Relations carries out its activities directly under the leadership of the Rector and Vice-Rector for International Relations and Investments.

The Department of International Relations (DIR) is created for the organization and development of international cooperation in order to raise the international level in the field of education and social activities of the university.

Functions of the department:

• carrying out work on the establishment and development of relations of BSU with foreign educational and scientific institutions and organizations;
• receiving information about foreign grants, their terms and conditions; - timely informing the management of the university departments and assisting BSU departments in receiving foreign grants;
• organization of BSU international cooperation with educational institutions and public organizations of foreign countries;
• development of double diploma and internship programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students, ensuring their availability: exchanges, loans, grants;
• planning of protocol events of international research cooperation of BSU;
• organization of admission of foreign representatives: planning of terms and programs of admission of foreign specialists, delegations, postgraduates, trainees, students (for all types of studies) to BSU;
• preparation of BSU agreements on its cooperation with foreign educational and scientific institutions and organizations in the field of implementation of educational and research programs;
• activation of BSU presence in the international educational community and in major international educational and scientific programs;

- providing visa support for foreign citizens coming to the Kyrgyz Republic to study/work at BSU:
