The Institute of Continuous Education (ICE) was founded on January 21, 1999. Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Musaev A.I. stood at the origins of the foundation and development of the Institute. In connection with the introduction of distance learning technologies into the educational process, in 2012 it was renamed the Institute of Continuous and Distance Education (INDO). The Institute is a large structural division of the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev. Mission of the Institute — to ensure generally accessible, high-quality and continuous distance education in a modern competitive educational environment based on the latest innovative educational technologies. The main goal Institute training of specialists in humanitarian and economic fields using distance learning technologies that are in demand in the labor market. High professionalism of the teaching staff combined with the material and technical support of the educational process guarantee fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary for a modern specialist.
