Department «"Pedagogical Education and Innovative Technologies"» The K. Karasaev BSU Department of Indo-Russian Studies was opened on October 2, 2017, on the premises of the previously existing Department of Humanities. The department trains students in the following areas:

- profile: Kyrgyz Tili Zhana Adabiyaty.

The department aims to establish a link between education, science and innovation.
Close attention is being paid to ensuring the quality and innovative nature of education through the implementation of new educational technologies for training personnel and modern training programs, as well as increasing the integration of education, science, and practice. The goal of developing innovative infrastructure in the education system has been defined, and a course has been adopted for innovative development and improving the accessibility and quality of teacher education.

PRACTICE
Students studying in the direction 550700 Teacher, 550300 Philological education (profile: Kyrgyz language and literature) according to the approved curriculum and in accordance with the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education undergo the following types of training pedagogicallyх practitioner:
Adaptation and pedagogical The practice is carried out as a «School Day» and is necessarily included in the schedule of the educational process and taken into account when drawing up class schedules.
The main objective of students during the "School Day" is to gain a general understanding of the educational process, the organization of extracurricular and extracurricular educational work, and to acquire initial practical skills in conducting educational work in preschool, primary, and special educational organizations.
During "School Day," students become familiar with the school's educational and developmental work, participate in the preparation of assemblies, raids, holidays, assemblies, discussions, and information sessions, conduct additional and individual classes with students, and provide other assistance to the educator, subject teacher, and class teacher.
Following the "School Day" program, interns write projects and submit written reports. Based on these results, they are assigned a differentiated grade.
Professional-basic Students undergo pedagogical practice while taking time off from their studies at the university at pre-school educational institutions as assistant teachers, primary school teachers, teachers of Kyrgyz language and literature as assistant teachers, special pre-school and school educational institutions as speech therapists, teachers of the deaf, teachers of mental retardation, as rehabilitation teachers at rehabilitation centers and organizations with a correctional pedagogical focus for children and adolescents.
During this period, students master in practice the methodology of organizing educational and upbringing work in classes, become familiar with the content and methods of work of public organizations, the work of the subject room, club, learn to conduct subject evenings, educational, upbringing and extracurricular activities, acquire the necessary skills and abilities of psychological and pedagogical work with individual students and class (preschool) groups.
The professional basic internship requires the student to report on the internship's results and receive feedback from the internship supervisor. Based on the results, a differentiated assessment is given.
Professional and profile Students undergo teaching practice outside of their studies as primary and senior graders in special schools, in educational organizations, and as rehabilitation teachers in rehabilitation centers and medical and restorative institutions for adults.
The content of professional teaching internships must correspond to the training profiles. Based on the results of the internship, a differentiated assessment is given.
Pre-qualification practice:
- prepares students to undertake independent research activities and collect information to complete their final qualifying work;
- allows you to transform existing experience and ideas to solve professional problems;
- teaches to take responsibility for the quality of one’s own activities;
- develops the ability to use the results of pedagogical research
in professional activities;
- develops the readiness to use theoretical knowledge obtained in
special disciplines for practice.
Pre-qualification internships are held in academic libraries, archives, educational institutions, and administrative and managerial organizations. Following the internship, students submit reports on their work and receive feedback from their supervisor. Based on their results, they are assigned a differentiated assessment.
When developing a research project program, a higher education institution must provide students with a choice of:
- To study scientific and pedagogical literature and other specialized information, achievements of domestic and foreign science and education in the relevant field of knowledge;
- Participate in scientific research or project development;
- Carry out collection, processing, analysis and systematization of scientific and pedagogical information on the topic (task);
- Prepare reports, report sections on a topic or on a section thereof;
- Present papers at conferences.
Specific types of internships are determined by the university's educational program. Goals and objectives, programs, and reporting forms are determined by the university for each type of internship.
A student's research project may be a part of their teaching practice. If research project is included, when developing the research program, the higher education institution must provide students with the opportunity to choose:
- To study scientific, pedagogical and specialized literature, achievements of domestic and foreign science and education in the relevant field of knowledge;
- Participate in scientific research or project development;
- Carry out collection, processing, analysis and systematization of scientific and pedagogical information on the topic (task);
- Prepare reports (report sections) on a topic or its section (stage, task);
- Present papers at conferences.
One of the forms of pedagogical practice is summer pedagogical practice in camps and recreation centers for children of preschool and school age.
Specific types of internships are determined by the university's educational program. Goals and objectives, programs, and reporting forms are determined by the university for each type of internship.

Most of our graduates find employment in general secondary schools and preschool education systems, in pedagogical colleges and specialized secondary educational institutions, as well as in higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The employment rate of graduates of the department is more than 80%.
