Scientific activities of BSU

The main areas of scientific activity of the university are: current problems of socio-economic development, ecology and environmental protection, informatization of science and humanitarian and social sciences and education. Also, the task is to further develop and improve the quality and efficiency of the organization and implementation of scientific research work at the university.

The implementation of scientific activities is carried out through: methods and approaches to solving problems related to the study and implementation of advanced experience in the field of current scientific areas, exchange of experience, comparative analysis and discussion of the results of scientific work, discussion of the prospects for the development of scientific areas within the framework of domestic and foreign schools, establishment of scientific links between young and leading scientists to improve the level of scientific research, expansion of opportunities for the implementation of research results in real practice.

Organization of scientific activity consists of research work of employees, doctoral students, postgraduate students and students of the university. Research work (hereinafter R&D) is carried out on the basis of the approved plan for R&D of the university. The relevance of research is determined by the interests of specific scientists working at the university, the interests of the region. Within the framework of the main scientific areas: defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations, writing monographs, articles, conducting examinations of scientific works, participation of teaching staff in scientific events of various levels, management of student R&D, scientific supervision of postgraduate students' works.

Main functions in the field of scientific activity:

• Monitoring and analysis of research results.
• Formation of an annual plan of scientific and practical events of the university.
• Regulatory and methodological support for scientific research work.
• Information support for research and development at BSU.
• Development of publication activity of employees, including in the BSU Bulletin.
• Participation in the organization and holding of scientific and practical events of the university.
• Organization of work to promote the scientific achievements of the university.
