Analysis of the organization's publication activity

Personal identifiers of scientists

Identifiers allow for a one-to-one correspondence between an author and the published results of their scientific work. There is no single, global publication database yet, so identifiers are specific to each citation database.

1. AuthorID RINTS (NEB ELIBRARY.RU) — assigned to each user (reader) profile of the NEB on the RINTS (Russian Science Citation Index) platform, SPIN code — assigned after the author’s registration in the Science Index (RSCI) system. Registration link

2. Scopus Author Identifier – individual account (Author ID). Elsevier product.

3. ResearcherlD – allows you to generate a complete list of the author's articles included in the Web of Science database. Assigned upon registration on the website.

4. ORCID ID — a unique identifier for a scientist (Open Researcher and Contributor ID). The primary purpose of ORCID is to identify scientists with the same first and last names, so each author of a scientific article is assigned a unique number (ORCID ID). The number consists of 16 digits: for example, http://orcid.org/0000-0002-1825-0097.
Used to verify authorship of scientific papers in SCOPUS and Web of Science.

5. GOOGLE SCHOLAR PROFILE Registering with Google Scholar increases the visibility of your work in the system and allows you to receive automatic notifications about citations of your publications from a wide range of sources. This service is called "Google Scholar Citations" (GSC for short), or in Russian, "Google Scholar References" or "Author Profile in Google Scholar.".
Google Scholar is the most comprehensive of all existing services. Google Scholar indexes all university websites and university repositories, so virtually all existing works online are automatically included in the GSC profile. Registration link
