Research work of University students
Students' research work is one of the most important means of improving the quality of training and education of specialists with higher professional education in the field of economics and jurisprudence, capable of creatively applying the achievements of scientific, technological and cultural progress in practical activities.
Involving students in research work allows us to use their creative potential to solve current research problems.
The main objectives of students' research work are:
- students’ mastery of the scientific method of cognition, in-depth and creative acquisition of educational material;
- training in methodology and means of independent solution of scientific problems;
-instilling skills for working in scientific teams, familiarization with methods and techniques for organizing research.
Students' research work is a continuation and deepening of the educational process and is organized directly in the departments.
The supervision of students' research work is carried out by professors and lecturers of the university.
Students' research work is divided into research work included in the educational process and research work carried out outside of class time.
Students' research work (SRW), included in the educational process, includes:
- completion of assignments, coursework and theses containing elements of research and development;
— study of the theoretical foundations of methodology, setting up, organizing, and conducting scientific research, planning and organizing scientific experiments, generalization, processing of scientific data, formulating conclusions and practical proposals, etc.
Student research is integrated into the overall research plans of the university, its faculties, and departments. The results of undergraduate and graduate students' research are presented at annual student scientific conferences and interuniversity scientific and practical conferences for graduate students, including "Philological Education, Linguistics, Pedagogy, Journalism, and Regional Studies: Contemporary Research Challenges," "Socioeconomic Problems of Youth: Potential, Risks, and Cooperation," "The COVID-19 Pandemic: New Vectors of Economic Development," "Ensuring Economic Growth in the Context of the Epidemiological and Socioeconomic Crisis," "Priority Areas for Economic Development in the Digitalization Regions of the Kyrgyz Republic," "Strategies for Innovative Development of the Kyrgyz Economy," and "Pedagogy." Their research may also be featured in various publications, including the BSU Bulletin.
Every year the faculty hosts more than round tables, international, national, inter-university and intra-university scientific conferences in various disciplines, students have the opportunity to attend more than 10 circles.
