Environmental campaign "Second Life for Waste"«

On November 26, 2024, an environmental event, "A Second Life for Waste," was held for first-year students at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev as part of the GreenKG project "Digital and Green Universities for Sustainable Development in Kyrgyzstan" of the European Union's ERASMUS+ program. To promote environmental issues, the program addressed the issues of solid municipal waste, recycling, and raising environmental awareness and culture. Associate Professor G.B. Kadyrova emphasized the importance of environmentally friendly behavior, emphasizing that each person is responsible for the cleanliness and preservation of nature, and that everyone should start with themselves and be a shining example of responsible consumers.

On December 13, 2024, a roundtable discussion on the development of a "green" and "digital" university model in the Kyrgyz Republic in a hybrid format was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was part of the international ERASMUS+ GREENKG project, which involves 10 Kyrgyz universities, the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Vilnius University (Lithuania), and Capacity Building Consulting Group.
