An online seminar within the GreenKG project, contributing to the sustainable future of Kyrgyz universities.
The National Office of the ERASMUS+ program is organizing online seminars on sustainable development in higher education with the participation of university leaders. Today, June 27, as part of the GreenKG project "Digital and Green Universities for Sustainable Development in Kyrgyzstan" of the European Union's ERASMUS+ program, Professor Askarbek Asangazievich Imanbaev, Rector of Irkutsk State University named after K. Tynystanov, gave a presentation on the achievements and next steps towards building "green universities." The presentation was dedicated to the topic "Green University: Sustainable Development Starts on Campus: The Impact of the GreenKG Project on the University." The key areas of the project's activities were highlighted: - integrating sustainable development principles into the educational process; - modernization of university infrastructure (energy-efficient equipment, green procurement); - student and faculty participation in environmental education and international initiatives.
The GreenKG project has become an important step in the environmental transformation of Kyrgyz universities and has provided a powerful impetus for new sustainable development initiatives.
