A guest lecture on "Modern Russian as a Foreign Language Lessons: Methods and Technologies" was held at the Faculty of Russian Philology at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev. Yulia Okovitaya, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Kuban State University, delivered the lecture. The event addressed issues of modernizing the teaching of Russian as a foreign language in the context of the digitalization of education and the internationalization of the academic space. The speaker presented practical approaches to organizing classes, modern digital tools, and effective methods of engaging students. The lecture generated considerable interest among faculty and students. A discussion followed, during which participants exchanged opinions and professional experiences.
