Mirlan Dyldaev, Rector of Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev, visited the Hungarian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, where he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary Sándor Dorogi. Edil Kanatbekov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Investments, and Rakhat Rai Kyzy, Coordinator of International Relations, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas for expanding bilateral cooperation between BSU and its Hungarian partners. The university presented a number of initiatives, including:
establishing and developing partnerships with leading universities in Hungary;
expanding opportunities for academic mobility for students and faculty;
participation of Kyrgyz students in the Stipendium Hungaricum (Balashi scholarship) program;
implementation of joint cultural and scientific projects.
The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening their partnership and their willingness to develop new areas of cooperation in education, science, and culture.
