As part of the international research week SOLID Kick-off Meeting (October 26 – November 2, 2025, Nuremberg, Germany), Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev and the Technical University of Nuremberg named after Georg Simon Ohm signed a memorandum on the implementation of the second phase of the international SOLID project (Social work and strengthening NGOs in development cooperation to treat drug addiction).
The project aims to develop scientific exchange, enhance the qualifications of specialists, and strengthen the capacity of NGOs in the field of addiction treatment. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the DAAD and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of the Excellence Network program.
The event was attended by BSU Dean of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Sciences P.M. Aitbaeva, Project Manager A. Shailoobek kyzy, PhD Supervisor N.K. Musaeva, and young researchers from the faculty.
The partnership contributes to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the development of joint research and educational programs, and the strengthening of Kyrgyzstan's position in the field of social work.
