On November 10, 2025, as part of Science Week, faculty and students from the Department of Sociology and Political and Legal Disciplines (Political Science) held a roundtable discussion on the topical issue of "The Death Penalty and Violence against Women in Kyrgyzstan: The Limits of Justice and Humanity.".
Over 20 student research papers were presented at the event. During the discussion, participants addressed important issues related to the use of the death penalty in Kyrgyzstan and the causes and prevention of violence against women.
Political scientists, sociologists, and public administration specialists from I. Arabaev Kazan State University took part in the discussion.
Following the event, a resolution was adopted, and all participants were awarded certificates and letters of gratitude. The roundtable became one of the significant events of the K. Karasaev BSU "Science Week.".
