In accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, all foreign citizens studying at universities in Kyrgyzstan are required to undergo the compulsory medical insurance (CMI) procedure.

What you need to do after arriving at BSU:

1. Contact the Department of International Cooperation and Investment.

• The staff will explain to you how to get compulsory medical insurance:
  • The cost of an insurance policy for one academic year is:
    • For international students – 11,910 soms per year.
  • Insurance provides access to free and discounted medical care in state clinics and hospitals.

Important: Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in restrictions in receiving academic services.
