On May 16, 2025, the Department of Management and Social and Information Technologies of the Institute of Continuous and Distance Education at BSU named after K. Karasayev held an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The participants were 2nd-year students of the Management and Tourism programs.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Acting Associate Professor of the Department N.B. Toktobolotova, after which video materials about Kyrgyzstan's contribution to the victory over Nazi Germany were shown. Then the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of war participants shared memories of their heroic ancestors.
Acting Associate Professor of the Department S. Amirkhanova spoke about her father's military career. Associate Professor of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Sciences B. T. Seitbaev shared the story of his father's participation in military operations. A student of the 10th "A" class of Bishkek Secondary School No. 66 Sezim Abylaeva spoke about her great-grandfather - war veteran and Hero of Socialist Labor Korchubek Aknazarov.
The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere. The importance of preserving the memory of the people's feat and passing it on from generation to generation was emphasized.
