Practice

According to the State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, internship is an important component of any educational program, which gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience in their chosen field of study, allows them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life situations and helps them develop skills and competencies necessary for their future career.

The main types of practice are: educational and industrial. Educational and industrial practices are conducted in profile organizations of any organizational and legal forms in the direction of training.

Objectives of the training practicum:
  1. Consolidation of theoretical knowledge, acquisition and development of primary professional skills and practical skills;
  2. Formation of students' understanding of a set of labor actions performed by specialized organizations in their chosen professional field.
Objectives of the training practice:
  1. Developing a range of professional abilities and skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving and time management.
  2. Acquire practical experience in using tools and technologies related to their field of study and learn to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
Production Practice Objectives:
  1. Formation of professional skills;
  2. Gaining experience in professional activities, organizational, educational and other types of work.
Objectives of the production practice:
  1. Providing students with the opportunity to develop professional skills and gain experience in various types of professional activities, including organizational, educational and other types of work,
  2. Applying the knowledge and skills learned to real-world situations such as project management, quality control, and team interactions that help develop practical skills and become more familiar with the tools and technologies used in their area of expertise.
Industrial practice may include several subspecies:
  1. practice in the direction of training;
  2. pedagogical practice, scientific and pedagogical practice;
  3. pre-qualification (pre-diploma) practice;
  4. research practice.

Practice in the direction of trainingprovides familiarization of students with real processes and procedures used in their chosen industry or profession, acquisition of practical skills, consolidation of theoretical knowledge obtained during training, necessary for successful work in their chosen field.

Pedagogical practiceis an essential component of teacher education programs where students have the opportunity to apply the pedagogical theory they have learned in a practical setting and shapes the development of professional competencies such as: communication skills, the ability to organize and plan educational activities, diagnostic skills to assess students' needs and progress, and constructive skills to develop effective teaching and learning strategies.

Pre-qualification (pre-diploma) practiceis held after mastering the program of theoretical, practical training as a final stage, during which the material is collected for the implementation of graduate qualification work and demonstrate knowledge and skills to solve problems necessary for the future career.

Scientific and pedagogical (production) practice (SPP)is directed on acquisition by master students of experience of realization of integral educational process; performance of complex analysis of scientific-pedagogical and methodical experience in concrete subject area; designing of separate components of educational process; examination of separate elements of methodical system of training; organization and carrying out of pedagogical experiment; approbation of various systems of diagnostics of quality of education; realization of innovative educational technologies.

Research and teaching practice is an important component of many training programs. The main purpose of this type of practice is to provide students with practical experience in the development and implementation of educational programs and research in the field of educational methods and technologies. During scientific and pedagogical practice students, depending on the level of education (master's degree, doctoral degree) work in various educational institutions, including specialized schools, specific departments of vocational education institutions, focusing on a particular subject area or topic, which involves a range of activities, including a comprehensive analysis of scientific, pedagogical and methodological experience in a particular subject area, the design of educational programs and components of educational programs and technologies. During this practice students learn to justify the pedagogical conditions necessary to ensure the quality of educational programs, to gain experience in the use, development and implementation of innovative educational technologies and effective teaching methods, to conduct research in the field of educational practices and methods.
