On December 2, 2025, the International Scientific Conference was held
«"The Nuremberg Trials: Lessons from the Trial of Nations," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the main trial of Nazi criminals.
The event was held in a mixed (online and in-person) format at universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Leading scientific, educational, and research centers from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, including Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasayev, Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, and Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky, served as co-organizers of the conference.
The conference brought together scholars, experts, teachers, young researchers, and students from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Latvia, and Tajikistan. Discussions focused on the historical significance of the Nuremberg Tribunal, the challenges of preserving historical memory, responsibility for Nazi crimes, and contemporary challenges associated with the ideological rehabilitation of Nazism.
The conference included a plenary session and a series of thematic roundtables, including a Bishkek session at the K. Karasayev Bishkek State University dedicated to the Nuremberg Tribunal as the first international trial of fascism.
