"Prospects for cooperation and development of Central Asian countries"
On September 10, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Prospects for Cooperation and Development of Central Asian Countries” was held at the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev, organized jointly with the Xi'an University of Foreign Studies (PRC).
The rector of BSU, Doctor of Sciences (Geography), Professor Mirlan Dyldaev delivered a welcoming speech and a report. The conference was attended by leading experts of the region, including the dean of the faculty of international relations of KNU, PhD in history Esen Usubaliev, vice-rector for science of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Sciences (History) Zainidin Kurmanov, as well as the teaching staff of BSU.
The event brought together scientists and experts from Kyrgyzstan, China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The plenary session discussed issues of sustainable development in the context of global challenges, geopolitical processes in Central Asia, new trends in economic cooperation and strengthening humanitarian ties.
The breakout sessions addressed areas of political and economic interaction, regional security, medical diplomacy, cultural exchange and educational cooperation. Participants emphasized the importance of scientific dialogue, expanding partnerships and implementing joint projects for the sustainable development of the region.
