On September 11, 2025, the rector of BSU named after K. Karasayev, professor Mirlan Dyldaev, the head of the Department of History of Kyrgyzstan and Foreign East Doolotbek Saparaliev and the head of the Department of International Relations Toktobek Ryskulov took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit-2025 and the Scientific and Practical Conference "The 80th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance of the Chinese People against Japanese Aggressors and the World Anti-Fascist War: Lessons of History and Responsibility for the Future."
During the events, the results of the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, priorities for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the formation of an objective scientific and political view on the events and results of World War II were discussed.
