On January 26, 2026, an official meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic was held at the K. Karasaev Bishkek State Academic University.
The meeting was attended by BSU Rector and Professor Mirlan Dyldaev, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Investments Farhad Tologonov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Investments Edil Kanatbekov, and the department's coordinator Rakhat Rai.
The French side was represented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic Nicolas Faye, the President of the French Alliance Guzel Ishenova and the coordinator of the Campus France organization Amenis Gérin.
During the meeting, issues of developing bilateral cooperation in higher education, expanding academic mobility programs, and implementing joint educational projects were discussed.
