As part of the "Green Deals in Central Asian Universities" project, implemented through the Erasmus+ program and timed to coincide with World Tourism Day on September 27, students from the Department of Geography, Tourism, and Natural Sciences at Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasayev organized an environmental cleanup day in the Kashka-Suu district.
The main goal of the event was to preserve the environment, promote a responsible attitude toward nature among young people, and foster ecological awareness. During the initiative, students cleaned the Kashka-Suu area from litter and encouraged the public to actively participate in environmental actions.
This initiative was aimed at integrating students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of tourism with practical activities, as well as promoting the principles of sustainable development among youth.
