On July 11, the large-scale environmental festival "Snow Leopard EcoFest – 2026" was held at the Chon-Kemin Hippodrome in Shabdan Village, Kemin District. The festival aimed to promote the protection of rare wildlife, advance environmental education, and encourage sustainable nature-based tourism.
The festival featured environmental workshops and exhibitions, the "BARS FASHION 2026" fashion show showcasing young designers, as well as interactive activities for children and adults focused on fostering respect for nature and environmental conservation.
According to the results of the competition program, students from the Faculty of Ecology and Management of K. Karasaev Bishkek State University demonstrated an outstanding level of knowledge, creativity, and teamwork, earning First Place.
