On October 24, practical classes for students from the Department of Social Information and Documentation at the A. Osmonov National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic were held at the K. Karasayev Belarusian State University.
Second-year students in the "Electronic Libraries" course learned about the process of digitizing collections, and in the "Bibliography and Information Activities" course, they studied the work of the National Bibliography Department and spoke with renowned bibliographers O.M. Sukhomlinova and E.S. Smanova.
Third-year students discussed the library's human resources policy, development plans, and innovative projects during a class on "Information Management.".
Fourth-year students in the Library Management course met with library director Eldar Attokurov to discuss management style, resources, and attracting young professionals.
Department faculty, together with library management, discussed the implementation of dual learning and the creation of a laboratory for students.
