From February 9 to 13, Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasaev hosted a series of meetings with international students aimed at explaining the requirements of Kyrgyz Republic migration legislation.
The event was attended by Vice-Rector for International Activities and Investments F.T. Tologonov and Chief Visa Support Specialist Zh.R. Abdyldabekova.
During the meeting, students were given a detailed explanation of the provisions of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On External Migration," as well as the requirements of the Kyrgyz Republic's regulatory legal acts governing the stay and education of foreign citizens in Bishkek.
Special attention was devoted to the issues preventing visa overstays, timely registration at the place of temporary residence, compliance with the terms of legal stay on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, registration of compulsory medical insurance in the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also liability for violation of the migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of holding such meetings is to prevent potential violations and ensure the legal stay of foreign students in the Kyrgyz Republic.
