On January 15, 2026, the international scientific and practical conference "Current Issues in Modern Linguistics" was held at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev. The event brought together scholars, teachers, doctoral students, and young researchers from Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
The plenary session and sections addressed issues of theoretical and applied linguistics, intercultural communication, translation studies, and modern trends in linguistic education, including the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
The conference has become an effective platform for exchanging scientific experience, discussing current scientific issues, and strengthening international academic cooperation.
