On June 25, 2025, the next meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasaev, at which key issues related to the strategic development of the university were considered.
During the meeting the following reports were heard and discussed:
• On the results of educational and methodological activities for the 2024–2025 academic year (report by D.I. Kozuev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs);
• On international activities and attracting investments to the university (report by E.K. Kanatbekov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Investments);
• On the results of financial activities of BSU for 2023 and 2024 (report by N.K. Zaridinova, head of the planning and financial department).
Particular attention was paid to the approval of a number of strategically important documents:
• Post-accreditation activities plan based on the results of program accreditation;
• Regulations on stimulating the publication activity of employees in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus;
• Regulations on the system of internal grant support for scientific research;
• Regulations on the launch of BSU’s own scientific journal “Problems of Socio-Economic and Humanitarian Sciences”;
• Regulations on the Kyrgyz-Chinese Scientific Research Center;
• Rules for admission of applicants to BSU for the 2025–2026 academic year;
• Information about the activities of the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research;
• Approval of time standards for calculating the educational and methodological workload of teachers of the International Educational Center.
