On March 13, 2026, the International Educational Center of Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev held a recitation competition, "An Evening of Russian Poetry." International students enrolled in the "Russian as a Foreign Language" course participated in the event.
Following the competition, the best performers were selected and awarded honorary diplomas. Congratulating the winners, Kanat Toktobaev, Chairman of the Jury and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at BSU, emphasized the special significance of such creative evenings in foreign language learning. He also wished the participants success in their future studies and student life.
Representatives from the People's Republic of China, Saudi Arabia, Colombia and Turkey took part in the competition.
