On March 17, 2026, a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Oriental Studies and International Relations of BSU and the T. Morito Institute for Global Higher Education of Hiroshima University (Japan) took place at Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasayev.
This agreement is aimed at developing academic cooperation in the field of Japanese studies, improving the quality of Japanese language teaching, and expanding scientific and educational ties between higher education institutions of the two countries.
At the event, Hiroshima University Associate Professor and Doctor of Education Saijo Yuto delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of inter-university partnerships. For his contribution to the development of education at Bishkek State University and his many years of fruitful work, he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of BSU.
The signing of this agreement is an important step in strengthening Bishkek State University's international cooperation and expanding educational opportunities.
