On November 26, 2025, an official meeting of the university management, headed by Rector Mirlan Dyldayev, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic Latif Seyfaddin oglu Gandilov and a delegation from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) was held at Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev.
The delegation was represented by Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Saadat Tagi kyzy Gandilova, Head of the Internal Audit Department Avaz Rashad Guseyn oglu Muradov Alekberov, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting Afis Akhmed oglu Gadzhiev, and other official representatives.
During the talks, the parties discussed key areas of future cooperation: developing academic mobility, implementing joint educational programs, student and faculty exchanges, conducting research, and conducting bilateral projects. Particular attention was paid to strengthening institutional ties between the universities and expanding international partnerships.
Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Latif Gandilov emphasized the importance of strengthening inter-university contacts and expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support for initiatives aimed at developing educational and scientific cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue expanding cooperation in the educational and scientific fields, strengthening ties between the two countries.
