Since 1997, we have been training sought-after specialists in ecology, management, tourism, geography and public administration. Faculty of Ecology and Management: Where Students Create the Future
The Faculty of Ecology and Management (FEM) of Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev is a place where students become leaders, researchers and professionals ready to change the world. Since its foundation in 1997, the faculty has become the largest division of the university, uniting active, ambitious and talented young people who strive for success in ecology, management, tourism and other in-demand areas. Student life here is rich: scientific seminars, environmental projects, trips, volunteer events and cultural events make learning bright and meaningful.
We are proud that our programs are focused on practice and real challenges of our time. FEM students gain knowledge from practicing teachers and participate in projects that help solve current problems in ecology, management and tourism. Our graduates are in demand in government agencies, international organizations, educational institutions and private companies.
The mission of the faculty is to create an environment in which each student receives not only academic knowledge, but also practical skills necessary for a successful career and an active life position. Information on scientific cooperation and international activities of the Faculty of Ecology and Management
The Faculty of Ecology and Management actively develops international scientific and educational collaboration, ensuring student participation in academic mobility, international competitions, forums, and research projects.
Students from the Faculty of Ecology and Management took part in a training course to improve environmental awareness among young people, organized by the Aarhus Center in the Kyrgyz Republic.

As part of the international academic mobility program for students in 2025, second-year student of the Tourism program, G. Kudashbekova, is studying at the University of Aydin (Cyprus).
Students of the Faculty of Ecology and Management Ibraimova M., Bolotbekova A. and Askarova M. took part in the international interuniversity student Olympiad in management and took 3rd place (April 26, 2025).
Albina Aliyeva, a student at the Faculty of Ecology and Management, won the international competition "Best Student of the CIS" and was awarded a first-degree diploma and a medal.
Bektan Kydyev, a student at the Faculty of Ecology and Management, took part in the International Youth Forum on Climate Negotiations, timed to coincide with the preparations for the UN Climate Change Conference (January 20, 2024).
Asema Arzybekova, a student majoring in Geography at the Faculty of Ecology and Management, is preparing documents to study in Latvia as part of the international academic mobility program.
Currently, Kayan Bishop, a Peace Corps volunteer, is working at the Faculty of Ecology and Management to promote the integration of international tourism principles into the educational process.
