On June 2, 2025, the rector of Bishkek State University Mirlan Dyldaev held an official meeting with the President of the Nature Conservation Union of Germany (NABU) Mr. Jörg-Andreas Krüger and the head of the NABU branch in the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkun Asykulov.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between NABU and BSU, which has a long and fruitful history, were discussed. The parties paid special attention to the issues of resuming joint initiatives aimed at environmental protection, research activities and the development of environmental education.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen their partnership and implement new joint projects aimed at sustainable development and ensuring environmental safety.
