On May 27, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at Bishkek State University, at which important issues of the university’s development were considered.
The director of the college Konokbaeva D.K. presented a report on the current state of the college and plans for modernization. The dean of the socio-psychological faculty Aitbaeva P.M. spoke about the growth of student activity and scientific work at the faculty.
Vice-Rector for Research G.M. Murzakhmedova presented the research topics of postgraduate students and applicants, which were approved by the council.
Personnel and organizational decisions were also made:
— B.N. Saifudinov was awarded the academic title of associate professor, L.N. Zhailova the academic degree of candidate of economic sciences.
– Elections for the head of the philosophy department of the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty were held.
– The renaming of the Faculty of Economics and Finance to the Institute of Economics, Finance and Business Management was approved.
The decisions taken during the meeting are aimed at further strengthening the university’s efforts to provide quality education, support research activities and improve management.
