On May 27, 2025, Bishkek State University, headed by Rector Mirlan Dyldaev, received a delegation from Khanbat National University (South Korea). The visit took place as part of strengthening international cooperation in higher education.
The delegation was led by Professor Ki-Seok Kwon, Director of the International Affairs Office. The delegation also included Professor Joon-Muk Lim, Vice-Rector for Industry-Academy Relations, and Mr. Sang-Poi Hwang, Team Leader of the International Affairs Office.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding the partnership between the two universities, including the implementation of joint double degree programs (2+2), short-term student exchanges, as well as strategies for attracting foreign students and developing joint educational projects.
Following the meeting, mutual interest in further developing and deepening partnerships aimed at academic mobility, exchange of experience and improving the quality of higher education was confirmed.
