On March 18–19, 2026, celebratory events dedicated to the celebration of March 21 – Nooruz – were organized at Bishkek State University named after Academician K. Karasayev.
The festive program began on March 18 with the ritual of making sumolok, an integral part of national traditions. This event was aimed at strengthening the unity of the university community, promoting intergenerational continuity, and preserving cultural heritage.
On March 19, the festive event continued with a program prepared by faculty and students from the university college. Young artists presented their performances, including national songs and dances, theatrical productions, and a variety of cultural events, creating a truly festive atmosphere.
The main goal of the event is to popularize the historical and cultural significance of the Nooruz holiday, foster respect for national traditions among young people, and strengthen a friendly and cohesive atmosphere within the university.
