On December 11, in honor of International Mountain Day, the Faculty of Ecology and Management organized a roundtable on the topic: “Protection of Mountain Ecosystems — for the Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan.”
The event was attended by specialists from the Central Asian Center for Earth Studies, representatives of the Kyrgyz-German Organization for the Protection of Natural Resources, as well as the faculty’s professors and teaching staff.
During the roundtable, students were presented with interesting and informative reports on the conservation of mountain ecosystems, sustainable use of natural resources, and issues of environmental safety, followed by discussions.
