Department of Chinese Language
The Department of Chinese Language was created as part of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty in accordance with the order No. 33 dated 23.02.04. The Department is a structural educational-methodical and scientific subdivision of BSU, implementing educational, educational-methodical and scientific-research activities, extracurricular work among students of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty in the following areas: "Oriental Studies, African Studies", "International Relations", "Economics", "Philosophy", "Sinology", "International Management" (with knowledge of the Chinese language).
Head of the Department of Chinese Language is i. O. Associate Professor Kenesh kyzy Ainur.
The faculty of the department annually undergo advanced training at the Confucius Institute and language internships at universities in China. The teachers of the department are actively working on developing teaching aids and textbooks.

Mission of the Department — training competitive specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language in accordance with global language requirements.
The main goal of the department – training of specialists with a practical knowledge of Chinese in the following areas: economics, management, international relations, Chinese studies, philosophy.
Department Objectives:
- improving the teaching and methodological activities of teaching staff;
- the introduction of innovative teaching methods and the development of teaching technologies with the aim of increasing the creative potential of students and their capabilities;
- regular professional development of specialists, use of the obtained results in the educational process;
- fostering patriotism and an active life position among students and youth;
- development of teaching aids, textbooks, reference materials, etc.

- 5 senior teachers;
- 1 volunteer from China;

All courses taught at the Chinese language department are provided with methodological materials, syllabuses, and work programs. The department's teachers are actively working on creating textbooks, teaching aids, and methodological manuals.
