Faculty of Russian Philology
The Faculty of Russian Philology was founded on May 29, 1979.
The faculty, combining traditions and innovations of academic education, theoretical and practical activities, knowledge and skill, has come a long, difficult path of development and has become a modern scientific, educational, cultural center and one of the leading faculties of the Bishkek State University named after Kusein Karasaev.
The faculty is distinguished by a high level of requirements for students and teachers, a stable demand for graduates, and an open dialogue between generations.
The Faculty of Russian Philology is a launching pad on the path to success.
Fundamental philological and broad humanitarian training allows graduates of the faculty to continue their education in master's, postgraduate and doctoral programs within the country and abroad, to realize themselves in any sphere of society's life, to easily master new additional and related professions, and opens up broad prospects in the labor market.
The faculty actively cooperates with leading universities in Russia, China, Turkey, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and implements joint educational programs. Close ties with leading foreign universities enable students and postgraduates to go on internships.
