Research activities of the Department of TiMNDO

  • Research directions. The Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary and Preschool Education focuses on current topics in pedagogical science. Considerable attention is paid to the development and implementation digital educational technologies in working with young children (for example, creating digital trainers and simulators to develop professional skills in future teachers)
  • Participation in conferences. The department's teachers regularly publish scientific articles and present reports at Russian and international conferences, seminars and webinars. This allows them to professionally exchange experience with colleagues, present the results of their own research and take into account global trends in primary and preschool education. For example, the department takes part in annual pedagogical forums and webinars on early childhood development issues. In addition, the teachers organize their own scientific events - university and inter-university conferences.

International scientific and practical conference "CURRENT PROBLEMS OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCE: STUDENTS' VIEW"

Every year they prepare and publish articles on current issues in the pedagogy of primary and preschool education: these are studies on teaching methods, psychological and pedagogical support for children, development of creative abilities and other key topics. Along with articles, the department's staff publish teaching aids and monographs that systematize the theoretical and practical results obtained. In recent years, several author's monographs have been prepared under the guidance of the department's teachers, reflecting advanced experience and new approaches in the pedagogy of primary and preschool education.

Laboratory "Bashat"

The Faculty of Pedagogical Education has a unique space - Laboratory "Bashat", created by students and teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Primary and Preschool Education. "Bashat" — is a modern play and development center where faculty members can safely and usefully leave their children while studying or working.

  • Objectives and tasks
    The laboratory is designed for early development, social interaction and emotional support of the child. Here children are engaged in creativity, play educational games and participate in health activities under the guidance of experienced teachers and students.
  • Organization of work
    Pupils of the group "Bashat" are divided into small subgroups, each of which is accompanied by a student mentor. Classes are based on pre-developed programs, including elements of art therapy, musical and rhythmic games, and role-playing learning.
