Faculty of Social and Psychological Sciences
The Faculty of Social Psychology (FSP) was formed on the basis of the Faculty of Management and Sociology in 1997, in connection with the needs of the republic for highly qualified personnel in the social and humanitarian fields. From the day of its foundation until 2005, the faculty was headed by well-known scientists in the country, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Isaev K.I. and Doctor of Sociology, Professor Nurova S.S.
From 2005 to 2023, the dean of the faculty was Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of Psychology, President of the Association of Social Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic Orozaliev E.S.
Since 2023, the dean of the faculty is candidate of sociological sciences Aitbaeva P.M.
Information for applicants
Future specialists organically combine the acquisition of theoretical knowledge with the acquisition of applied skills. First of all, the emphasis is on the development of students' analytical and research abilities. They participate in research projects, scientific conferences, debates, debates, and various cultural and mass events.
To develop practical skills of students, the faculty has the Center for Social and Psychological Training and Consulting "Umut", the Social Center "Akak", the Laboratory of Sociological Research, the Student Discussion Club "Prism" and the Scientific and Methodological Office.
